SUPPLY CHAIN CONCEPT

 


A supply chain is a network of businesses, individuals, and activities involved in creating and delivering a product or service to the end customer. It includes all the steps from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing to distribution to retail, and eventually the end consumer.

The supply chain begins with the procurement of raw materials and ends with the delivery of the final product or service to the end consumer. It involves many different players such as suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, logistics companies, and transport providers, all working together to ensure that goods and services are delivered to the end customer in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Managing the supply chain

effectively is essential to ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and at the right place. A well-managed supply chain can help reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction
